Physiotherapy

Banksia’s physiotherapy services promote comfort, dignity, and an improved quality of life for our clients. We provide compassionate support to help individuals maintain mobility, manage pain, and enhance overall well-being with a gentle and respectful approach.

Our experienced physiotherapists provide personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each client. We aim to help enable our clients to continue doing the activities in their life that give them meaning, so we tailor our support to help them achieve those goals.

We focus on:

      • Person centred care – Learning about our client and what’s important in their life so that they can get the most out of it while they can.
      • Pain management – Using gentle techniques to alleviate discomfort and improve ease of movement.
      • Mobility & function – Helping clients maintain or regain as much independence as possible.
      • Breathing support – Assisting with breathing exercises to enhance lung function and relaxation.
      • Comfort & well-being – Employing massage, stretching, and positioning techniques to promote relaxation and ease.

Our Occupational Therapists work closely with the rest of the Banksia care team, ensuring that every part of your care plan supports your well-being and the needs of your caregivers.

We are here to support your comfort and independence, helping you continue living life to the fullest, with the dignity and care you deserve.
