We understand how busy life is initially after death, and we know that sometimes, there isn’t time for you to take a breath – you may not have had a chance to think about the person who has died, and about you; how you are going and what you need. For that reason, we would like to invite you and your family to attend our Remembrance Services.
This service, which we run ourselves, provides an opportunity for you and your family to remember…to take some time, and just think about the person you have lost. The service includes readings, music, and an opportunity to light a candle in memory – it is not religious, it is not culturally specific, and is appropriate for any age.
After the service, our staff will be on hand to chat with you – it is a nice time for you to let us know how you are going, and if there is anything that we may be able to do to support you in the coming weeks and months.

Location: Our Lady of Mercy College, Theatre, 39 Yarra Street Heidelberg (This is located next to Woolworths, up the hill)
This event is available for bereaved families and friends whose loved one was a client of Banksia Palliative Care Services and is suitable for children. Please bring a photo of your loved one.
