Aged Care Services
Specialist palliative care for people living in residential aged care
Banksia provides specialist palliative care services to people living in aged care facilities. This care is provided in an advisory capacity, while the aged care staff remain the care providers.
We provide specialist treatment advice to assist in managing the palliative needs of the resident. We also provide training, education and support to aged care staff who provide the care.
Residents need to be referred to and accepted onto Banksia’s service.

“We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Banksia palliative care staff. The skills, care and empathy shown to our mother made us feel very supported at this most difficult of times. Also the communication and support Banksia gave the nurses and carers at the facility made us feel confident our mother was receiving the best palliative care”.
